The Kesean Palmer Foundation was born out of tragedy — and transformed into a mission of hope. After losing my son, Kesean Palmer, to gun violence, I made a promise to turn pain into purpose. Our Family Empowerment Program provides emotional and practical support to parents and families who have lost loved ones to gun violence. Through group sessions, mentorship, and community outreach, we help families rebuild stability, regain confidence, and find hope for the future.
We believe that true recovery includes financial stability. Our Financial Literacy Workshops teach essential money management skills — from budgeting and saving to credit repair and financial planning — helping families rebuild their foundation for a better tomorrow.
Created in memory of Kesean Palmer, the KP17 Scholarship Fund honors his legacy by helping students achieve their dream of higher education. The scholarship provides financial assistance to hardworking students who aspire to attend college but lack the resources to do so.
